Letters to Providence

We all believe in something. Some of us believe in the notion that there is nothing to believe in. I believe in God.

I also believe that whether you pray to someone called God, Yahweh, Allah, someone different for each problem, or no such being at all, we all need someone to talk to.

About a month ago, I decided to write down my prayers, rather than just think them. The result was wonderful. Not only was I sharing my joy, pain, triumphs, and problems with God, but I was also seeing them more clearly for myself.

My hope is that through this project, people will be able to expand their relationships with God, or whatever you call Him, with themselves, and with their fellow man.

Letters, or prayers if you prefer to call them that, can be long, short, angry, joyful, specific, vague, emotionally draining, or seemingly tame. Anything and everything that is important to you will be important to God and to us. Don't hold back, and don't be afriad.

All letters recieved will be treated with care and dignity, and all writers will remain anonymous, aside from an intial, an age, a gender, and a country or state.
